What Freedoms Will Be Lost On The Next Crisis
I trust my doctor more than my government. What happens when they become one in the same? Forced vaccinations by our federal or state governments for a unproven toxic vaccine? Notice all the question marks, I just hope I will have the freedom to decide what to do for myself. Stay Tuned...

Reform Not Transform
Solutions can begin with out a NATIONAL health care bill. We here alot about waste and fraud in Medicare and Medicaid, and the politicians tell us that is what will help pay for it, so why do we need a bill to address this problem, start eliminating fraud and waste today and prove it can be done.
Tort reform is a proven method that some states are using now to reduce costs and even stimulate their economies.
Mississippi's Tort Reform Triumph
Doctors Flock to Texas After Tort Reform
Medical Tort Reform
I think if we break it down and address the problems with health care one issue at a time we will make alot more progress and reduce the risk of making things worse.

The Scars Of Slavery
The scars of slavery on our country and other freedom loving countries around the world will always be a part of our history we should not and can not forget. We should also try to realize that in the end it was freedom and liberty that allowed us to correct our mistakes and try to move forward. What would this country and the world be like today if good people wanting to do what is right did not have the freedom to prevail over evil?
Slavery still exists around the world to this day, mostly in countries run by dictators, where freedom and liberty do not exist. You can read Modern Day Slavery Around The World article and wonder why the U.N. and the world can't do more on this issue.
Mankind can never be perfect but his only chance of fighting evil is by being free.
I appreciate your comments as they both inform and challenge me to learn and after all that is why I started blogging to begin with.

Slavery and the Framing of the U.S. Constitution
The question of prohibiting the African slave-trade by a provision in the national Constitution caused much and warm debate in the convention that framed that instrument. A compromise was agreed to by the insertion of a clause (art. I., sec. 9, clause 1) in the Constitution, as follows: "The migration or importation of such persons as any of the States now existing shall think proper to admit shall not be prohibited by the Congress prior to the year one thousand eight hundred and eight; but a tax, or duty, may be imposed on such importation, not exceeding ten dollars for each person." The idea of prohibiting the African slave-trade, then warmly advocated, was not new. In 1774 the Continental Congress, while releasing the colonies from other provisions of the AMERICAN ASSOCIATION , had expressly resolved " that no slave be imported into any of the United States."

A Walk Down Memory Lane
There has been alot of talk on some of the "main stream media" channels about being a racist if you disagree with Barack Obama's policies. Some in the press will focus on the worst possible protester and try to make them representative of all. You may not realize or remember just how bad the protesters were when George Bush was in office due to the press only focusing on the bad apples when it suited them and their agenda.
I thought it might be time for a walk down memory lane. Here

My Freedom Rally Speech 9/12/2009
Why I Tea Party
My name is Hugh Reynolds Jr. and it feels great to be here among freedom loving, country loving, and God loving people. The constitution was designed to limit government and protect our God given rights, not provide us with things. I am truly blessed to have been born free in a country where so many people before me and to this day have sacrificed so much to protect our way of life. Our way of life and our constitution are more important than any of these buildings and monuments you see around you here today. When our family, friends and neighbors serve our country, here, at home and around the world, they are not defending their government, they are defending our way of life and our constitution. Our way of life is our constitution. When judges and politicians from the local level all the way up to the President that we the people elected start ignoring or remaking our constitution they are ignoring our way of life. Just as past generations have defended this great country and our constitution, so must we for future generations. It is our duty as United States citizens to voice our concerns to our representatives and our fellow citizens.
Like many of you, I have family and friends that ask, why are you going to a tea party or why are you going to protest at a town hall meeting? My first thought is, because I can, why aren’t you? You may have voted for Barack Obama but you didn’t vote for all the career politicians in congress, did you? My second thought is I don’t want my country REmade, I like it just the way our Founding Fathers intended it to be. Our Founding Fathers were some of the most intelligent people to ever walk on earth. If you remake our country, you are remaking our way of life and our constitution. So this 2008 sore looser does all he can, blog, tweet, listen to talk radio, write and read emails, call my congressman, vote, watch Glen Beck, watch fox news, start a tshirt business with quotes from our founding fathers on the backs, express my views in a positive way to others, and yes attend tea parties. And still we ask – what can I do? Some day our Grandchildren may ask us what happened to our freedom, what did you do?
A percentage of misguided citizens who are less informed and poor candidates to choose from will always be a threat to our representative republic, this will never change, but what does need to change is for good people to stand up when the politicians lay down. The time and effort of one informed citizens vote is cancelled out by a voter wanting the government to take care of them. That’s why I am going to a tea party; would you like to join me?
Like many of you my first protest was April 15, 2009. Mine was in the pouring rain with SOME of my family. I remember not knowing what to expect when I was about a block away from my first protest, would anybody be there or would they not show due to the rain? After seeing the turn out that day in the pouring rain I knew people had finally had enough. Not enough people had enough yet but it was a start. My town hall rally in Towson Md. was on one of the hottest days of this summer and one of my coworkers said, “There probably won’t be that many people there because of the heat” but I knew there would be, and there was, including some people that the President requested be there bought and paid for by the unions with their mass produced signs, that’s when I knew we were starting to make a difference. More and more people are starting to wake up and realize the country they love can not be taken for granted any longer.
We The People as a whole are responsible for the government we get and as individual citizens we are also responsible for holding our representatives accountable for the offices we trust them to regardless of party affiliation. When emails, phone calls, letters and laws have little effect, it is the people’s duty and responsibility to voice their opinions and concerns.
The antique press, the blame America first crowd and the people who fell for the hope and change bumper sticker pretend not to understand what tea parties are all about, but they do, and their insults and misrepresentation of us is proof that we are making a difference. The people you see here today are the same people you would see at a 4th of July parade or lining the streets of a funeral procession of one of our fallen heroes. We love our country and only good can come from good people standing up to preserve it in the only way they know how, regardless of others who think there is no threat to our way of life.

My Thoughts on How BO Became 44
1.He promised hope and change - Who could disagree with hope and you had to be well informed and read between the lines to understand the kind of change he was really talking about.
2.He ran as a moderate and at times talked like a conservative – His voting record in congress was one of the most liberal, his promises of tax cuts and mortgage payments sealed the deal for some.
3.I think it’s time for a black president – Is that statement racist? A black conservative would have been destroyed by the liberal press and the democratic party.
4.The antique press had thrills going up their legs (Chris Mathews) – To this day the antique press offers very little criticism of the man they helped elect.
5.John McCain – RINO republican in name only, started out the primary in last place and finished first? Basically a lack of leadership in the Republican Party. Conservatives held their nose while voting for John McCain. Some didn’t vote.
6.Young and good looking and never smokes in public – Image is a big part of being electable, old man vs. young active cool guy.
7.Money - Barack and his operators put on huge events that cost millions. The amount of money spent to elect Barack Obama broke all records.
8.Colin Powell – Put his support behind Barack, at the same time he insists the Republican Party needs to be more moderate like John McCain?
9.George Bush - “ I’ve abandoned free-market principles to save the free-market” George was not much help for the Republican nominee.
10.Barack Obama – One term? Can the President be as successful as the candidate? Only time will tell. Or will he be the best thing that ever happened to the Conservatives in 2010 & 2012?

Out of Control Executive?
First it was flag@whitehouse.com that wanted people to rat on people who disagree with the administrations plans.
